Research visitor from Ukraine

In the last 6 weeks, we have hosted a research visitor from Ukraine! Ruslana Mihas joined our microplastic team at Flinders University to study our methods in marine micro-litter and share her knowledge and expertise. This great opportunity for her professional development was supported by Ukraine-Australia Research Fund of the Australian Academy of Science https://lnkd.in/gsiNb-5c
Ruslana is a junior researcher at the Institute of marine biology of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine. She is studying relationships between zooplankton and microplastic in the Black Sea. We look forward to further cooperation in microplastic studies!
